First of all ... yes, that says 25th. I'm still coping. I can't believe it.
Second of all ... I had the greatest birthday with the greatest people a girl could ask for.
My birthday started by waking up and working at daycare:
Tyler sang "happy birthday" to me all morning long .. ironically, not annoying - I'm all about the day being all about me once a year. Selfish? Sure. But its the truth.
Mom made us all whoopie pies! THEY WERE SO GOOD! (which was probably not a good idea seeing as my Weight Watchers update is 25.8 lbs for my 25th birthday!! WOO HOO!!!) The kids ate lunch and sang to me in the kitchen and then we moved the party outside. I was in the seventies in March, can you believe this? Here are some pics of the birthday extravaganza :)
Then when I was done working at daycare ... I went to the gym to run in my NEW RUNNING SHOES :) My birthday present from Jeff .. and I LOVE them! Check these puppies out!
Next we went to Outback for dinner .. and Jeff surprised me by having my friends Jake, Megan, Baby Jonathan, Angie and Dan meet us for dinner! Happy Birthday to me!! I had so much fun! :)
I LOVED having my phone go off every 2 mins with a Facebook message from someone wishing me a happy birthday ... how can you say that's not fun??
Afterwards Jeff and I went to go see "21 Jump Street" which was totally stupid but really funny.
Over all ... the best 25th birthday a girl could have!
I have the best boyfriend, the best parents and the best friends (including the little ones)
anyone could dream of.
Thanks for visiting!
Yay for you! Happy Birthday again!! However...wait till you are 30, then we'll talk about coping. It's all downhill. Looks like a fantastic day! I love those shoes!!
ReplyDeleteOh, and let me know what kind of design you want for the blog next. We need to get started on it. If you see anything out there that you like, let me know and we'll see what we can do!
