Gardening with Daycare Part 2

You may remember this post from just one month ago ... planting all of our "rashes" (radishes) and carrots in the garden from seeds, with the help of our little friends of course.

Well ... we have been watering and watering them and finally, the radishes are ready to be picked! Here's some fun pictures of the event - enjoy :) I know the kids did!

(it's pretty bright today haha, check out those squints)

Project Life (May 30~June 5)

Starting off with an appology! Sorry last week's post was so late .. I know there are so many of you out there, just dying to check out my stuff ;) NOT haha.

So, if no one reads this: I'm apologizing to myself for being so lazy and busy, if that makes sense!

Anyways, if you didn't catch that post - you can find it here. This week, I don't have my pictures printed again, but I do have my blog and Facebook album's up to date ... so that's great news!!

Memorial Day was an awesome way to get the week started!!

Monday We spent the day at the lake and then headed home around 6PM or so. We stopped at the Lumberman's Monument on the way home. How beautiful is this?! Here's more info: SITE
These are additional pictures I have from the weekend:

Front of a 5x7 add in I will have ...
Back of the same 5x7 add oi..

Cutting the above in half for my 3x4ish journaling cards instead :)

Tuesday was our One Year Anniversary <3

Not the cutest picture of us ... but I'll take it - it's very "in the real life of Tara and Jeff" watching the game on the couch :)

We went to Outback Steakhouse for dinner (our favorite) on the bike, watched the Tigers game and just hung out together. He was going to recreate one of our "famous" dates which was going out to South Lyon to get ice cream on the bike.. but it was supposed to storm so we couldn't go. Hey, it's the idea that counts!! This guy is my best friend in the world, I don't know what I would do without him. It's one of the things that makes our relationship so special, I think .. being best friends. It was the perfect night. He got me the coolest gift too - Jewelry? No. Candy? No.  A Miguel Cabrera SIGNED card with a piece of his ACTUAL away jersey ...I'm learning that most ladies would not have been pleased with this, however - that's just how well he knows me.. because I LOVE IT... almost as much as I love him.

Wednesday night we went to Corey's play / choir event at the church - they were pretty awesome! Then we headed to softball of course! The boys lost and didn't even get to finish the game because the field lights weren't working.  Quote of the night: "Thanks for letting us get our money's worth blue" ... hilarious.

Thursday Mom and Cullen played in the yard ... "whatchu want Cafie?" is his famous line. The kids like to pretend that this is a drive thru window and you are ordering. Here they traded places and were making pancakes together.

FRIDAY I was sick .. we didn't do anything. Jeff had band practice and I laid in bed most of the day .. watched the game together all night - the best way to be sick, with my guy and my Tigers. NO PICTURE.

Saturday I had a GREAT afternoon show and then headed out to Rochester Hills to see the fam. Jeff's Grandpa turned 90 this weekend. He is the sweetest guy .. he makes me miss my own Grandpa a bit. The party was awesome. People from all over the country and state came to see him .. truly a great day.

Sunday I mowed the lawn. Most people don't know this about me ... but I handle the tractor pretty well... ever since the incident with the mailbox that is. :) Here I am in my bathing suit, shorts, iPod, bare foot with red toe nail polish. That's how I roll.

We have hired a service but they were slacking the past two weeks. Don't ask me. All I knew was we didn't need a ticket for the grass length with all the craziness that's been going on otherwise around here. If you would have seen how long it was, you wouldn't have believed WE lived here....

Project Life (May 23~May 29)

I have been slacking. Can you believe that last week I had everything printed and this week I bearly could post?! I can believe it haha ... but hey - it's my project, I'm the boss ;)

Here you go people! :) Hope you all had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend!

Monday we were sitting on our front porch relaxing and there was a bunny in our front yard ... also relaxing! We have TONS of bunnies this year, I can't even believe it.

Tuesday I was in and out of the house ... here's Ella and Gavin. Adorable. Ella loves to help with the babies!

Wednesday was my first day back working at the daycare. First day back you ask? You have seen pictures of all of these kids before, you say? I know. I just can't escape ;) Good thing I love them so much!!

Thursday I got Grace off the bus. It rained like crazy all day and when it was time to go get her, it let up. So I walked down the street with my giant umbrella ... which must have been the cue for the rain. It POURED as soon as she got off the bus!

Friday it had been raining for a few days so I wanted to get a picture of the park all flooded. Here is the playground approximatly 6-10 inches under water ... While I was taking these pictures a GIANT ... thing ... swam at me and I freaked out. There were 12-14 inch Carp swimming around the playground, I kid you not! The river over flowed and there they were! Later that night we finally got out of town and headed up north for the weekend :)

Saturday we woke up in Oscoda. We got breakfast and went to the Yankee Air Museum. It was pretty cool. At the airport they had all these huge Northwest planes - I'll remind you here that NW doesn't exist anymore... pretty weird! Jeff and I made dinner as everyone else got up north :) FUN weekend!

Sunday was better than a normal Sunday. With it being Memorial Day Weekend, we didn't have to track all the way home right away! One more day! One more day! One more day! We stayed up north. We relaxed and hung out all day - it was a beautiful weekend on the lake! Here's Scruffy ... she loves it up north almost as much as we do!

Project Life (May 16~May 22)

Hey There! First of all: I am loving Project Life Tuesday. It really is helping me stay on track (or close to it)!! I also love to see all of the other ladies ideas and ways of doing things - it is a truly awesome community of women.

Second of all, -- HERE -- is a link for my post from last week since we didn't link up :)

Comments and suggestions are not only loved but requested!!! Let me know what you think or if you have a better idea .. something you are doing - or just to say "hi"! I love to know you swung by!

Okay, so to start - I DO have album pictures ... two weeks in a row (a small miracle). I always appreciate when people put their album up so I can see their actual book ideas, but now I appreciate it even more because I'm realizing how seriously difficult it is to have done in time!! ;)

So, away we go!!
I am really loving the rounded corners look to match all the paper and journaling cards.. what do you think?

I really love the Sharpies that I'm using to highlight things and make headings.

Here's a long journaler by Ali Edwards which I think is totally awesome - details from my first psychic reading (lol) that I don't want to forget!

I didn't take a picture of my psychic reading because it was nerve racking enough ... so here's the chicks card with another Ali Edwards overlay.  See? They aren't just for pictures!

Monday I finally committed to going to Rally! Premier Designs Jewelry has a conference in Fort Worth Texas  in July ... super nervous but can't wait! :)

Tuesday Mom and I took the kids on a walk around the block. They needed to blow off some steam. This walk turned into a nature walk - it was super fun. Glad I brought the camera! For more click here.

Wednesday Cullen would not stop tickling my feet in the kitchen - this boy is TOO FUNNY!

Thursday I took a pic of our lilacs. We have tons and tons of lilacs around our house and when they finally bloom ... it was worth the wait! Check out my other blog post just about our lilacs!

Friday I did the psychic reading (business card instead of picture today)

Saturday I was lucky enough to be able to head out to Grand Rapids! I hung out with Bryce, Syd and Sara all day. After Jimmy Johns, Target and a few hours in the office - we got a ton of what we call "geek/nerd talk" out. I LOVED it! :) We are all into Project Life, PhotoShop, Blogger, Pinterest .. you know ...

Sunday Dad put up our American Flag. GOD BLESS AMERICA!! Counting the days until Jimmy is finally on the soil of the USA! :)
